Rallies and Caravans

On this page, I have listed some rallies and caravans that we have attended. Also I have listed upcoming rallies and caravans that we are planning on attending.

2002

Tin Can Tourists Mt. Baker Vintage Trailer Rally

We heard about the rally on the Friday that it started. We couldn't arrange to take the trailer, so we took a day trip and just went for the day.

There were about fifteen trailers there, and everyone that we talked to were more than happy to show their trailer.

2003

TCT Mt. Baker Vintage Trailer Rally

We planned our vacation around when the rally was going to be. We took our trailer and this year there were about thirty trailers there. It was a lot of fun and a great bunch of people. Someone even bought a trailer in Michigan and towed it all the way here just to get ideas for restoration (it was gutted and they couldn't even sleep in it).

2004

TCT Mt. Baker Vintage Trailer Rally

Again we planned our vacation time so that we could attend this rally. Well this year the Seattle PI did an article about the rally and it obviously got some attention because there were over sixty trailers this year.

2005

TCT Mt. Baker Vintage Trailer Rally

This year we showed up early and got a good spot again, WOW this rally just keeps getting bigger and better every year. I Would guess that there were almost eighty trailers and a lot of new faces and trailers as well as friends from previous years.

Upcoming

June 2006

We have registered for the 49th WBCCI (Wally Byam Caravan Club International) International Rally. It will be held in Salem, Oregon from June 28th to July 5th. This will be the first time in over 30 years that it will be held on the west coast. This year Airstream celebrates its 75th anniversary.

Region 7 of the Vintage Airstream Club is planning to caravan to the International Rally from Wisconsin, with a stopover in central Washington. We are making plans to join them as they come this way and caravan with them to Salem.

August 2006

We plan on attending the TCT Mt. Baker Rally again this year. I understand the dates are August 18th to the 20th.

We had to miss all the fun rallies this summer and our vacation due to my getting sick and ending up in the hospital for three weeks two days before we were due to leave for the WBCCI International Rally in June.
